Promoting creativity and wellbeing

Prompted by all the brilliant art pieces received from young people in Haverhill in response to The Lockdown & Me (2020) we have relaunched our lockdown art project: Lockdown (3) and Me.

The project has been designed to promote youth wellbeing and encourage children and young people, 11 – 19 years old, to get creative in expressing how they feel about this lockdown – in pictures and in accompanying words.

All the work we receive will be shown in our TALENT gallery and put into the illuminated display in the High Street, outside Haverhill Arts Centre.

To enter: send a picture of your artwork to and complete this short form

We have a limited supply of FREE art-packs for those who want to get crafty , but might not have the resources to do so.

We hope that there will not be a Lockdown 4 and that there’ll be no need for Lockdown (4) and Me!

Of course we always appreciate receiving artwork created by young people in the Haverhill area.

Most of my lockdown experience was doing work on my iPad for school. Also, I use my iPad to film my Mum’s Storytime and singing sessions for Haverhill Library.
